It is the patient's responsibility to understand the coverage of your specific insurance plan prior to coming in for an office visit! BOC is not responsible for determining coverage for your specific healthcare plan.We advise you to review the insurance website to check if Dr. Sharon Stanley and Dr. Keith Swan are in network for your specific plan or calling your insurance company to discuss your plan's coverage (the phone number can be located on the back of your insurance ID card).
We suggest you verify with your insurance the following questions prior to your office visit:
1. Do you have a yearly deductible (if YES, how much has been met so far)?
2. Do you have co-insurance?
3. What is your copay for a specialist?
4. Is osteopathic manipulative treatment covered on your plan? If yes, do you a limit on the number of visits covered per year? And does your insurance apply osteopathic treatment treatment towards your deductible?
